Abstract
Lynne Brindley made an enormous contribution as a global leader in the library and information community, particularly in relation to the transforming impact of the digital revolution. This article seeks to assess that contribution from the perspective of the National Library Board (NLB) of Singapore. The author reports that annual conversations with Lynne gave NLB colleagues much food for thought, and that they felt invigorated with fresh ideas after our conversations with her. The NLB is grateful to have had a partner and colleague from such an esteemed institution, who so generously shared her knowledge and learning, without hesitation.
