The purpose of this correction notice is to notify the journal's readership and the scientific community about an authorship change related to [1] after a reader reported a possible case of scientific misconduct.
According to the findings of the journal's inquiry, Yichao Tang (YT) and Haoyu Wang (HW) have originally not been notified that they've been listed as authors of [1] by the other two authors, Chen Chen (CC) and Yiding Wang (YW). The two authors (YT and HW) have subsequently requested to have their names removed from the authors list.
Indeed, further inquiry determined that YT and HW did not fulfill the journal's authorship criteria. However, by CC's admission, they did provide help with language editing and other aspects of manuscript preparation, which is why they were erroneously included in the authors list instead of having their contribution acknowledged in an appropriate section of the manuscript.
All authors have confirmed and approved the proposed changes in authorship, and since there has been no reason to suspect the scientific validity of the corrected article, the journal has decided to issue this corrigendum as a means of correcting the scientific record in accordance with COPE Guidelines [2].
The journal regrets any inconvenience this might have caused to the readership.
