Abstract
The Tourism Satellite Account (TSA) is used by decision makers, policy makers, and other tourism institutions to examine the actual economic impact of tourism on the economy and, accordingly, to make decisions and formulate strategies. Given the fact that Serbia still has no developed TSA, the main objective of this article is to examine the degree of familiarity with the TSA among employees in the tourism industry and other Serbian industries important to the development of a TSA. In order for a TSA to be introduced in Serbia, it is necessary to educate employees in the tourism industry about its implementation and the benefits of its introduction.
