Sclerosing peritonitis (PS) often appears after peritoneal dialysis discontinuation. Two recent papers on the topic suggest the need of a greater awareness of the disease by both patients and physicians. One of these papers investigates the experience of people undergoing surgery for PS in UK, while the other analyzes the effectiveness of a multidisciplinary approach to reduce the incidence of PS and improve its outcomes in Japan.
