Cost-benefit analysis of assistive technology to support independence for people with dementia – Part 2: Results from employing the ENABLE cost-benefit model in practice

Abstract

This paper presents an analysis of the results based on the cost-benefit methodology developed for use in the assessment trials in ENABLE. The analysis contains cost-related data from the five countries involved. It presents mainly quantitative data on the benefits or outcomes of using the ENABLE technologies. The benefit-related data is supplemented by qualitative data from people with dementia and their carers.
