Land use statistics for cities and urban agglomerations: Development of a method based on administrative records and the use of geographical information systems

Abstract

A project is being undertaken by Statistics Norway to try out new methods of producing national statistics on land use in urban settlements. The statistics shall provide information on how national goals and guidelines are being followed up through planning and development.
