Abstract
The European Comparison Project 1990 (ECP) is a joint endeavour of UN-ECE, EUROSTAT, OECD and the Austrian Central Statistical Office. This project produces estimates for real gross domestic product and its major components for all participating countries, together with estimates of purchasing power parities. International comparable estimates for the consumption of the population and gross fixed capital formation are among the most interesting results of the project. Twenty-five European countries have been included in ECP 1990.
