Abstract
The publishing of statistics in printed form is being supplemented by online services. Danmarks Statistik, the central producer of Danish statistics, offers three online data banks to the public. All of them are located at Danmarks Statistik. Access to the data banks is possible through a variety of networks. The user is offered easy ways to compute, aggregate and download the results. User groups (public as well as private) are varied and continuously growing. In a few years most of the statistics produced should be available in data banks. Dissemination facilities will be improved and alternatives will be considered. Offline distribution through optical disks could be of interest in the future.
