Abstract
The equalization of the economic standard of living of different population groups is a national political goal of the Swedish society. Important knowledge for the pursuit of such a goal is up-to-data information about the distribution of economic resources. There is also need for models by means of which different political actions – realized or planned – can be evaluated. The paper describes the Swedish work to coordinate databases and EDP-models to permit compilation of the relevant information.
