Abstract
In 2022 COVID-19 remains a challenge in Aotearoa (New Zealand). Through the Ministry of Health, the government has consolidated the reporting processes of COVID-19 data specific to cases and vaccination rates. These are updated, offer regional descriptions daily, and are available in the public domain. Māori (Indigenous to Aotearoa) appear as the most challenged population. Individual Iwi (tribes) and Hauora (Health) providers access their specific data. Notably, the ability to utilise the data at an operational level to improve the health and wellbeing of Māori (Indigenous to Aotearoa) in Aotearoa (New Zealand) experiences in a COVID-19 environment.
