Abstract
Blogs and wikis have been around for a while now, but not much has been written on how statistical agencies could, should and are using them to communicate statistical information or monitor usage of statistics. This paper presents what is happening in the world of blogs, wikis, social networking and other Web 2.0 applications today, how it is impacting official statistics and what might be expected in the future.
