Abstract
We report the case of a newborn infant who developed persistent pulmonary hypertension of the newborn and was successfully treated with a combination of inhaled nitric oxide (iNO), nasal continous positive airway pressure (nCPAP) and seldinafil. This approach may decrease the need for intubation and mechanical ventilation and subsequently lung injury in similar cases.
