Abstract
In this letter, we study an impulsive control system with impulse time windows. Although the concept of impulse time windows is proposed a few years ago, but the comparison system theory has not been established. By generalizing the traditional impulsive control theory, we then establish the comparison system of the considered system and theoretically prove that the stability of an impulsive control system with impulse time windows can be derived by the corresponding comparison system. Lastly, by use of the results in this paper, the chaotic Lorenz system is stabilized.
