Abstract
Propagation of extremely short, pulses in media with quadratic nonlinearity is investigated numerically. The full system of Maxwell-Duffing equations is considered. A new conservative difference scheme for nonlinear Maxwell equations is constructed and tested. Numerical results are discussed.
