Abstract
In order to eliminate the flickering of images when video is generated automatically in delayed shooting system, an algorithm is designed to reduce the brightness variation of multiple images when they are combined into one video. This algorithm distinguishes foreground region from background region by Gaussian mixture model, then adjusts the brightness difference between foreground and background respectively, reduces the brightness difference between front and back frame images, and then reduces the change of light and shade in the composite video. This not only preserves the brightness changes in the scene, but also does not allow the screen to produce a sense of brightness jump, which effectively improves the quality of the video imaging.
