Abstract
The paper presents a novel multifunctional digital audio watermarking for copyright protection and content authentication. The algorithm employs the chaotic sequences to encrypt binary watermark and embeds the watermark into the audio low-frequency components using statistical-mean manipulation and the high-frequency components quantizing single coefficient respectively. By using this algorithm, it could fulfill the requirements of both the copyright protection and content integrity authentication at the same time. Experimental results show that the performance of the multipurpose watermarking scheme is not only superb in terms of robustness and fragility, but also fragile to malicious modification. Especially, the scheme can detect effectively the tampered region.
