Abstract
An efficient spectral-domain full-wave algorithm based on a 4 x 4 transfer matrix and the integral equation method is developed for microstrip lines and microstrip discontinuities, embedded into multilayered bianisotropic media. A method for the reduction of singularity order of Green’s dyadic is proposed. An infinite array of microstrip lines and a 2D microstrip grating, formed by rectangular elements are considered. The dispersion characteristics of 1D slow‐wave structures and the resonant frequencies of 2D grating are computed. The dependence of these characteristics upon the chirality and nonreciprocity of bianisotropic media is studied.
