Abstract
Active control is mainly used in geometry linear structure. In the article, we discuss the feasibility of active control for a geometry nonlinear structure, circular truss antenna. The simulation result shows the maximal active force amplitude and attenuation quotient is related with the effect of decreasing vibration closely. Improper parameters cause the "over-counteract" or "under-counteract" phenomenon in the fixed dominated time interval. In addition, we find proper active control doesn't cause the evident local cable mode in the receiving surface stretched by cables when the initial pre-strain of radial cable is enough.
