Abstract
Magneto-Rheological material has an intelligent property and been applied widely in engineering field, such as the damper used for the vehicle vibration reduction. Using the MR damper as the actuator, a semi-active suspension control system based on the fuzzy control algorithm is developed in the paper. The performance of the proposed system is evaluated in different applications, such as road detection, communication and local control damping. Besides, combining with the suspension system, the proposed control system can be applied on some special vehicles.
