Abstract
The field circuit and movement coupled finite element method for the numerical analysis of 2D electromagnetic fields is proposed in the way of studying the electromagnetic fields of the three-phase flameproof induction motor. Numerical results obtained by means of the software of finite element analysis for a typical flameproof induction motor in different operation states such as no-load, static and transient states with load have confirmed positively the feasibility of the proposed method in solving the electromagnetic problems. It is the foundation of the flameproof induction motor for optimal design.
