Abstract
Radiofrequency thermal ablation has become an important treatment of liver cancer. Recurrence can be associated to insufficient dimension of the treated zone or to insufficient temperature reached in the tumoral cells. A finite element 3D analysis of thermal ablation treatment has been performed to evaluate its effectiveness.
