Abstract
In this study, the power generated by a flexible piezoelectric device (FPED) assuming engine vibration is presented. An FPED is designed considering the frequency of the vehicle engine, and a forced vibration experiment is conducted. The FPED has a pinned-pinned support. The experimental results are presented, and the power generation is discussed. The validity of a theoretical analysis method is also considered for future manufacturing. Finally, a feasibility study for power generation using an actual engine is conducted, and the results are presented.
