Abstract
I have investigated the methods of measurement of the magnetic properties of Fe-based amorphous strip proper to establish a material specification standard. A single strip tester designed for the material was constructed and the effects of measurement conditions on the results were studied. I have found that the single strip tester method proposed is superior to the toroidal core method and the H-coil method is essential to avoid the effects of yoke.
