Abstract
Reflecting on the development of an electronic journals collection at the University of East Anglia, the impact on internal working practices within the library is discussed. The need to redefine roles and workflow arrangements is seen as essential for the ongoing maintenance of this collection. Involving library staff at all levels is proving to be a successful strategy in the promotion of electronic journals to the university community as a whole. The role of the Electronic Resources Librarian in helping to facilitate these changes is explored, especially in terms of the need to make links across departments and groups within the library and throughout the institution.
