Abstract
Knowledge, skills and experiences that the employees have gained in a certain field can not be used all through the end of their labour life, and they became insufficient quite soon. Thus activities like overcoming such insufficiency, self-development related to one’s own work, renewing oneself through the acquisition of new information are all rendered necessary.
It has turned out to be inevitable for a librarian, archivist or information specialist to make more effort in order to be more effective and productive in his job.
