Abstract
In today's discussion of the service bureau's role in multimedia diversification, I will touch upon four areas. First, I will provide a brief definition of the publishing business. Second, I will examine the information publishing processes. I will then describe the service bureau's role in support of information publishing, and the services which bureaus offer to information publishers. Finally, I will review several media applications of International Computaprint Corporation including: the Oxford English Dictionary, Thomas Publishing Media, Florist's Transworld Delivery, the Physician's Desk Reference and the ABC Travel Guides.
