Abstract
Corporations in the US have become sophisticated in the exploitation of online databases for business applications. This includes using internal and external databases for business planning, M&A activity, Competitive Intelligence product management, and marketing and sales. As more business databases are developed for Australia, Australian corporations will increase their use of online information for business applications. There will be continued development of multinational data sources which will be used increasingly by corporations worldwide for international business applications.
