Abstract
The paper presents the description and results of a model experiment carried out for comparison of the roll-damping qualities of continuous bilge keels and of wing ledges, installed in a staggered order, during rolling of the ship at zero forward speed.
The damping qualities of constructive stabilizers were investigated also at motion of the ship ahead. The obtained data can be useful in subsequent experiments and in design of new sea vessels.
