Abstract
The flow around two overlapping twodimensional rigid sails is calculated from the exact equations. The dependence of the lift on various parameters such as “trim angles”, maximum camber is considered. For narrow slot the accuracy of the twodimensional analogue of a numerical Vortex Lattice Method is investigated.
