A new approach to the calculations of the hydrostatic magnitudes for a trimmed vessel

Abstract

The authors submit a proposal to extend the hydrostatic curves to some additional curves. Such extension will allow to estimate the displacement, the coordinates of the centre of buoyancy and the ordinate of metacentre when the ship is trimmed. As an example the new hydrostatic curves are presented for a semi-container ship 150 m in length.
