Abstract
Experiences with and shortcomings of a strut supporting system for testing two-dimensional fully cavitating hydrofoils in a cavitation tunnel are revealed, mainly with respect to both the measuring-and the data-correction technique. It was concluded that for testing a hydrofoil in a two-dimensional flow, this struts supporting system is not completely satisfactory and that a system, where the hydrofoil extends from wall to wall, is preferable.
