Abstract
The paper describes some results of towing tests carried out with models of the separate hydrofoils as well as the complete model of a 300 tons – 50 knots hydrofoilcraft. Further the results of steering tests on a straight course and the results of towing tests in regular waves in head- and following sea conditions are presented. The research work described was sponsored by the U.S. Navy Office of Naval Research.
