Abstract
A description is given of some experiments on partly cavitating hydrofoils, which were intended to check the linearized theory of Geurst for these flows. The results show good agreement between theory and experiment.
The experiments indicate an essential difference between partially and fully cavitating flows, which is described in the paper.
