Weighted fuzzy transform and its application for approximation of discrete functions by continuous functions

Abstract

Fuzzy transform is one of the modern theoretical tools in the area of fuzzy approximation and fuzzy modeling. In this paper we define direct and inverse weighted fuzzy transform for discrete functions. As one of many possible applications we use this technique to approximate a discrete function by a continuous function.
