Abstract
We investigate the multiple attribute group decision making (MAGDM) problems in which the attribute values take the form of linguistic variables. Motivated by the ideal of power aggregation (R.R. Yager, The power average operator, IEEE Transactions on Systems, Man, and Cybernetics Part A 31 (2001) 724–731), in this paper, we develop some power aggregation operators for aggregating 2-tuple linguistic information, and then apply them to develop some models for multiple attribute group decision making with linguistic information. Finally, some illustrative examples are given to verify the developed approach and to demonstrate its practicality and effectiveness.
