S CAN wins Draughts Tournament

Abstract

Many different mind sports programs participated in the 18^th Computer Olympiad, held in Leiden, with programmers from all over the world. An extended blog2 gives details about the Draughts Championship that, with 12 participating programs, was the largest tournament of the Computer Olympiad. It gives the names of the programs and the programmers / operators, the gamescores, as well as the final results. The Blog is about the games with a selection made in such a way that all participating programs are involved. The idea is to illustrate to what extent the programs differ in playing strength, from rather low to world championship level. In Table 1 we give the final standings.
