Abstract
The 16th Computer Olympiad held in Tilburg in 2011 was the first (and possibly last) Olympiad to see a competition in the game EinStein Würfelt Nicht (EWN). In this note, we discuss the solution of endgame positions for this game and use tablebases of endgame values to measure the performance of competitors in this first tournament. For the interested reader we have also included the results of the tournament (see Section 6). We conclude the note with three open questions (Section 9).
