Abstract
Diaballik, an abstract game designed by Philippe Lefrançois, attempts to simulate a sport where 2 teams are simultaneously trying to bring their ball to the opposite teams’ starting goal line. The board depicts a 7 × 7 grid. In opposition to many other abstract games, a player has up to 3 different actions to perform at each turn. They can be combined in any order. The number of successors to a given configuration is relatively high (between 200 and 1000). The evaluation procedure of a configuration is presented. A computer strategy has been implemented and some experimentations are described.
