Max–min fairness in WDM optical burst switching networks

Abstract

In this paper, we define the max–min fairness criteria for OBS networks and propose some effective schemes to provide max–min fairness to support service protection and isolation in such networks. We present extensive simulation results to show the effectiveness of the proposed schemes to achieve max–min fairness with good isolation among connections.
