Abstract
Rothe numbers (aka generalized Catalan numbers) have a natural interpretation in terms of lattice paths. Making use of this interpretation this paper aims at showing how some classical convolution identities involving Rothe numbers can also be proved conveniently using lattice path combinatorics.
