Abstract
Ten out of forty-one institutions responded that their institutions offered library and information studies through distance learning systems. The courses are offered at the diploma, bachelor and Master degree levels. Printed materials are the main instructional media. Examinations and assignments are the prime methods of assessments. Professional intensive workshops are also provided.
