Abstract
This article reviews the history of the International Graduate Summer School (IGSS) held in Aberystwyth, Wales at the College of Librarianship Wales, now the Department of Information and Library Studies, University of Wales Aberystwyth. The year 1997 marks the twenty-fifth anniversary of IGSS, which in total has involved over 1,000 students from more than 70 countries. Details of the courses offered, the study tours and the continuing links with the University of Pittsburgh are given.
