Abstract
Various aspects of imaging technologies within the teaching and research programmes of the School of Librarianship and Information Studies, The Robert Gordon University, Aberdeen are described. Core areas discussed are desktop publishing, image databases, document image processing, hypertext and the communication of images. The authors emphasise the importance of imaging technologies in the curriculum both present and future.
