Abstract
The fundamental responsibilities of the Maiduguri Library School and its objectives are examined. Its information technology resources and their care and maintenance are discussed, as is information technology that is available outside the library school and used for information education. It is noted that the information technology resources of the Maiduguri Library School are limited by financial constraints. Recommendations are made for the school to improve its information technology resources by giving its academic staff training in information technology and including the study of information technology in its curriculum.
