Abstract
The potential of CD-ROM as an online training tool is considered in the light of experience with information and library studies students, and UKOLUG members. The advantages of user friendliness, a relaxed atmosphere for training and no additional costs appear to outweigh any disadvantages. Availability of CD-ROM/online linked products will increase value for training.
