Abstract
Outlines a co-operative study between a University Library and a Department of Librarianship and Information Studies in which the Library collected medical topics from clients as the basis for a realistic online search exercise for undergraduate students. Client feedback to students on their search results was collected by means of a questionnaire. The Library gained increased publicity for its own online search service in return.
