Abstract
Members of four divisions of the Special Libraries Association were surveyed to determine whether they participated in continuing education activities, and if so, what types of programmes they preferred. It was found that special librarians participate a great deal in continuing education programmes, they feel these programmes are very relevant to their current positions, and that those which received the most attention were ones dealing with online database searching and those sponsored by the Special Libraries Association.
