The above article, originally published in Cancer Biomarkers volume 22, number 1, 2018, pp. 111–118, has been retracted from its online catalogue in consultation between the corresponding author and the publisher of Cancer Biomarkers.

The published paper mainly focuses on Serum miR-658 inducing metastasis of gastric cancer. However, recent work showed that serum miR-658 is unstable with quick turnover even at a low temperature. The work of this study cannot be repeated.

In this light the journal cannot condone publication of this paper and has decided to retract it from its online catalogue.
