Asymptotic analysis of linearly viscoelastic shells – justification of Koiter's shell equations

Abstract

By asymptotic analysis, we prove that the displacement of linearly viscoelastic Koiter's shell equations converges to the solution of two-dimensional linearly viscoelastic membrane shell or flexural shell model problem.
