Asymptotic analysis of linearly elastodynamic shallow shells with variable thickness

Abstract

The paper deals with the dynamic problem for linearly elastic shallow shells with variable thickness. The author shows that the solution of three-dimensional problem converges to the solution of two-dimensional shallow shell equations as the thickness of the shell goes to zero.
